What could be a better way to get your classic restored than to return it to the people who created it in the first place? The Bavarian brand’s BMW Classic Centre has restored a 1972 BMW 3.0 CSi, according to WorldCarFans.com, and returned it to its owner in mint condition.

There have been reports over the years that suggest there are many factors that distract motorists, but the latest rather bizarre report has come from Italian motorists who claim to be distracted by the new road signs warning them to “be aware of prostitutes”, according to The Sun website.

With the focus on electric and hybrid cars, there really isn’t space for the big brand of sport utility vehicles that became synonymous with the term “gas guzzler”. Grist.org reports that “GM thought its plans to sell Hummer to a Chinese company had the green light, but instead got run off the road by the Chinese Government”.

JournalLive.co.uk have reported that “a network of hundreds of charging point for electric cars will be created” and all thanks to receiving millions of pounds of Government funding. The Times Online has reported that although “the scrappage scheme may be saving the car industry, it won’t save the planet”. Government figures suggest that the scheme has in fact helped to reduce CO2 emissions, as older cars that have been scrapped in the scheme burnt around 233.6 gallons of petrol each year, compared with new cars which burn around 172.4 gallons
