She’s hit the top spot in the charts, stormed the fashion world and is now collaborating with Land Rover on a special edition of their new baby Range Rover – is there anything Victoria Beckham can’t do? PistonHeads.com have reported that its time the “Range Rover brand got in touch with its feminine side”, and with a successful fashion business under her designer belt it’s no surprise she was chosen for the job.

Charles Spencer King has been a significant figure in the Range Rover legacy since 1925, but sadly after a substantial number of years of being the driving force behind such a monumentous marque, this motoring legend has passed away.

The iconic classic Range Rover doesn’t look a day over 39, but turning 40 marks the end of another era for Land Rover with some trendy modifications to bring it up to date. According to UKAutoBlog.com, The first model, the two-door Range Rover known as the classic, went on sale in 1970, promising to combine “Rover car comfort with Land Rover strength and four-wheel drive mobility”.

The eagerly awaited G-Class Mercedes-Benz is finally “returning to the UK later this year”, according to PistonHeads.com. The iconic right-hand drive “city slicker” will return to our roads in the autumn with a choice of either diesel or supercharged petrol engines.

When Ford bought Volvo back in 1999, the company paid a reported $6.5 billion, but Ford have announced that it has entered into a “definitive agreement” with Geely, Chinese car manufacturer for $1.8 billion (£1.2 billion).

This year’s Geneva Motor Show revealed more than just the latest models of concept cars; Goodyear also unveiled several concept tyres at the show. The US tyre manufacturer rolled out a number of tyres, including an “extremely low rolling resistance version of its Goodyear EfficientGrip tyre and a new run-flat design”, according to etyres.co.uk.

We all know that a fuel price increase is inevitable, but motorists have been offered a “temporary respite from the sharp increase” as the Chancellor reveals plans to stagger the rise in three stages, according to the Times Online website.
